Pitlochry is one of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant places to visit, it is largely a Victorian town, which developed into a tourist resort after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited the area, there will be time to explore the many shops on the busy high street or you can visit the famous salmon ladder and observation chamber. We then travel to the beautiful Queen’s View with its stunning vista across Loch Tummel to Schiehallion and the mountains of Glencoe in the distance.
We then will continue through the Tummel valley and onto Kenmore where we will stop for High Tea at the famous Kenmore Hotel reported to be the oldest hotel in Scotland. We will return home via Loch Tay and Killin.
